Full-Scope
Freight & Logistics
Refrigerated transport, general freight, sea and rail containers, wharf logistics, and storage. A modern fleet backed by nearly 40 years of South West experience.
Why Choose Warren District Transport
“Large enough to handle, small enough to care”
Family-owned and operated since 1987, WDT combines a modern, well-maintained fleet with the accountability and personal service of a business still run by the Monk family. Every load is backed by a proactive safety culture, transparent communication and long-standing relationships with regional growers, producers and industry.

Temperature-controlled road transport for fresh and perishable produce, with farm-to-market logistics servicing regional, metropolitan and interstate destinations nationwide. Proven supply relationships with major Australian retail supermarket chains support export supply chains to international markets, backed by end-to-end cold chain integrity management.
Refrigerated container (reefer) transport is supported by onboard power generator systems and real-time vehicle tracking for full visibility, accountability and service confidence, while pressure cooling capabilities rapidly remove field heat to preserve product quality. Short- and long-term refrigerated storage is also available to support harvest, consolidation and despatch requirements.

“Their service is second to none, fruit arrives on time, on temp and no job is too big or too small.”

Full import and export sea container transport is complemented by rail container transport services and wharf and port deliveries and collections, forming an integrated container logistics offering across the South West and Perth metro.
Container handling, secure storage and integrated warehousing are available in Manjimup and Perth, supported by sideloader trailers for efficient placement and delivery. Custom-built PBS road-train compliant skeletal trailers with onboard generator systems allow sea and/or rail containers, including refrigerated reefers, to be moved in full-length road-train configurations.

“WDT have serviced our business faultlessly for 10 consecutive years with a fleet of trucks that are genuinely first class.”

Reliable general freight services run throughout the South West and Perth metropolitan area, with transport solutions tailored to local businesses, regional producers and industry.
Flexible scheduling and delivery options are built around each customer’s requirements, running on the same modern fleet used across every WDT service: 11 Mercedes-Benz and 5 Freightliner Euro 6 trucks, with single trailer or ‘A’ Double approved combinations for higher-productivity freight movements.

“From small local deliveries to today’s large-scale operation, they’ve continuously adapted to our changing needs.”

Safety, Technology & Sustainability
Continued investment across our fleet, systems and depots to keep operations safer, smarter and more sustainable.
We are expanding our technology capability around two key safety initiatives: Performance Based Standards (PBS) permits and telematic monitoring systems fitted across our heavy vehicles, complementing ongoing upgrades to our Safety Management System. Fatigue Distraction Detection Technology and structured driver coaching programs work alongside this updated fleet and equipment to lift driver skills and industry best practice.
Our telematics capture real-time tracking data, enabling an immediate response to unforeseen delays, accurate delivery estimates and clearer customer communication. The same data on routes, vehicle performance, fuel consumption and driver behaviour supports informed decisions that optimise routes, strengthen fatigue management and reduce fuel costs as the fleet grows.
Our Mercedes Actros Euro 6 vehicles are chosen for fuel efficiency and aerodynamic design, supported by preventative maintenance contracts and variable speed refrigeration units that keep the fleet running at optimum efficiency. Gas-powered materials handling equipment is being replaced with electric units, and noise is reduced through less idle time, white noise reverse beepers and one-way traffic planning on site.
Our depots are designed to minimise environmental impact, with dust reduction through sweeping and facility maintenance, LED sensor lighting replacing existing storage area lighting, and preventative cool-room maintenance for efficiency. A 120kW solar power system is already installed, with a further 50 panels planned over the next 12 months.
